An Analysis of Transportation Impacts for Campus Drive and Hackberry Lane (July 2006- September 2006) Traffic study analysisPerformed data collection and capacity analysis for the Campus Drive/Hackberry Lane Relocation Project. Conducted a traffic study to determine the width of the realignment of Campus Drive and Hackberry Lane. 
Western Wake Freeway (end date August 2001) National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Community Impact Assessment and Public InvolvementThe proposed Western Wake Freeway was a new road that would connect six cities.  The freeway would adjoin Northern Wake Freeway at NC 55, and it would be built in sections.  The proposed freeway was anticipated to provide an outer loop. Ms. Slade determined the environmental consequences, impacts to the human environment, socioeconomic impacts, economic impacts, cumulative impacts, and environmental justice issues; researched the demographics, archaeological sites, historic architectural properties, revenues, land values, land uses, and parks and greenways; hosted public hearings to present alternatives to the community and obtaining public feedback.

Julian Avenue Widening.  (end date April 2001) NEPA Community Impact Assessment and Public InvolvementConducted the Citizens Informational Workshop. This project for the North Carolina Department of Transportation involved development of conceptual alternatives. Community Involvement was used to create some of the alternatives.
86 Widening, (end date April 2001) NEPA Community Impact Assessment and Public InvolvementPrepared the community impact assessment for the proposed widening of Columbia Street at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The project called for two 11-foot lanes with bicycle lanes on both sides and sidewalk on one side.

Master Transit Plan for South Baldwin County and the Cities of Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach (December 2006- February 2008)Public Involvement, Marketing, Public Relations, and Awareness CampaignAssisted in developing a Transit Master Plan to develop a fixed route transit system for the cities.  The project’s goal is to develop a transit solution for the area. Slade LET Planning worked with stakeholders to assist in delivering a completed plan that will allow the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission to make informed decisions concerning the future of a public transportation program.
Rail Shuttle Service Center (April-July 2007)Implementation services for a Transit Services System Assisting with the CCTMA alternatives analysis process for both the enhanced rail shuttle and enhanced transit circulator systems.
Community Impact Assessment for Town of Lipscomb, Southwest, Grasselli, and Brownville Communities (October 2007-July 2008):  NEPA Community Impact Assessment  Assisted with an Environmental Toxic Torts Case; conducted a Community Impact Assessment to determine environmental health threats; and conducted an Environmental Health Festival.
  The Nixon Building at Tuxedo Junction(August 2007)Focus Group Workshopand Assistance in organizing a 501c3Conducted a Focus Group Workshop to obtain information for the Mission, Purpose, Vision, Values, Building Contribution, and Skills. Through this exercise a Mission, Purpose, Vision, and Values statement was written.
